Caravan Rally — Poppleton, York

Fancy a week up in Yorkshire? MROC are holding a caravan rally at Poppleton, four miles west of York city centre. The site is on a cycle route into York, and there is a Park & Ride not far away.

Seven nights, 5–11 October, £21.00 per night for two adults and unit, including electric hook-up and Wi-Fi.

Caravans and motorhomes welcome, but no tents I’m afraid, as there are no toilets or showers on site. Children and dogs allowed.

There is lots to see, including the National Railway Museum (free), York Minster, the dales and moors, and North Yorkshire Moors Railway steam trips — book those ahead.
